20世紀中旬，一個(gè)名為卡爾森的專(zhuān)利律師兼發(fā)明家發(fā)明歷史上第一臺激光復合機，并名為Xerography，而生產(chǎn)復印機的廠(chǎng)商哈羅依德就是美國施樂(lè )的前身。施樂(lè )可以稱(chēng)得上是一家非常偉大的公司，除了發(fā)明復印技術(shù)外，還誕生了彩色復印機、以太網(wǎng)、激光鼠標一系列辦公設備，甚至的喬布斯的Mac圖形界面也是“參考”施樂(lè )實(shí)驗室的成果。可惜的是，施樂(lè )并沒(méi)有抓住時(shí)機發(fā)展，最后又把重心調整到辦公打印市場(chǎng)。
